@oom- I'm deathly ill (or at least that's how I feel), so my eyes are all red and swollen. when the "film" is all blown out like that it just looks INSANE.

I like the concept, and the effect that the lighting has on the eyes is almost... alien; which is cool.

@corey- what happened is the camera metered the shot off of my black jacket up close when I hit the timer, and then didn't readjust. so it over exposed... by a lot.
and so much more boob is not always a good thing.

a note to all you folks that keep posting inspiring photo's: I'm holding you responsible when I go into debt to buy my dream camera. And when I use it against my taxes and get audited, I'm going to count on you to back me up by saying that it was medically necessary for me to buy a decent camera, and therefore an non-reimbursed medical expense.

@pokey- don't come crying to me. The grand financial total of the equipment used last night was 165$, and that includes the desk lamp I used for lighting.

@SLP: Yeah, I actually just gave all my vintage camera equipment (3 Mamyia's, a sill-in-the-box Cannon AE-1, and a bunch of higher end lenses) to a good friend who's studying photography and wanted to spend some time learning the nuances of actual film processing. He promised to give me his D70 when he upgrades.
Still, the levels one could go to with a Hasselblad H3D II......

@corey- actually it's a good thing... until I get the camera I want I can still do cool things with the camera I have.
@Pokey- I have a lovely cannon a-1 but I don't trust anyone selling film here, or anyone processing it. so I stick with my shitty digital.
