So, I just watched OJ Simpson lead out of the courtroom in cuffs. Where were you 13 years ago?

13 years ago I was 13 years old.
Art class with Ms. Pederson (the first teacher I ever suspected to be a carpetmuncher).
probably playing in the snow, or having a water gun fight, or playing hide and seek in the forst.
I was in 8th grade health class. The entire school stopped so we could all watch the verdict.
it was actually slightly surreal in that when i found out a couple hours ago, i was chilling at my friend's place, and we didn't know that it was the 13th "anniversary" of OJ's non-guilty verdict. and he was like "wow, 13 years, where were you 13 years ago" and i was like "um...well, interning for you, actually. wow, has it been that long?"
it seems like forever ago, for sure
i was a sophomore in high school, I believe. I didn't really mean for this to be a "where were you when Kennedy was shot?" convo, but, hey, why not?
That day the verdict was being broadcast during lunch. Someone actually managed to turn on the TVs in our cafeteria and the whole place got quiet enough to listen.
at a relatives house watching a Knicks game. . and then they interrupted it for the Bronco chase
My story is exactly like JasAsian's substituting a radio for the TV. Weird.

8th grade. It's hard to believe it's been so long.
