So it turns out that I might have Rheumatoid Arthritis. Yay. Go me. Everything in my life is just peachy keen, and this is just the cherry on top of the shit sundae.

Oh no... My friend from school has RA, and she eventually quit work because of it. I hope yours isn't so very bad. Where is it affecting you (on you body) most?

if you're seeing a rheumatologist, as i assume you are, he/she should have told you there are many many things that are more likely than RA.
i hope it's one of those.

Yeah I'm seeing a rheumatologist next week. I hope its something like gout or anything that isn't RA. It's affecting my knees and my ankles most, but my hips are also starting to swell and get painful. I don't think it will stop me doing anything, because most of what I do involves sitting in front of a computer. I'm not a long-distance runner or a waitress or anything.
My old dj partner has that. She had to stop because of it.
