Concerts make me happy.

Over the last two days I have attended three amazing concerts. I'm in music heaven, my mind is coated in the experience. I'm also really really really sleepy.

Last night was a solo cabaret style performance by Baby Dee (worth a google).

Tonight started with a two hour Nick Cave set (that's two encores, and my mind completely blown).

The night ended with a local band playin the Neil Young album Tonight's the Night start to finish in an old vaudeville theatre that currently houses a porn theatre. The sound was so bright, and the band was so tight, it was like listening to music in heaven.

So Baby Dee = a modern day Tiny Tim?

Why?

um, more like a transgendered pianist and harpist, who plays these really wonderful wandering cabaret songs in a fantastic tenor.

but I also saw that show in an old historic hall, with only about 100 people in the audience, and I was sleepy, and it was dark and strange and beautiful.

I am hearing less of the fantastic tenor and too much of the scary falsetto.
