Bench warrants are easy to get out of.. just pay it later. And if you're not in TX, it doesn't really matter.. it's really unlikely that Cali would arrest and transport you for a speeding ticket.

OHP Nevermind... found a route... I can get to Arkansas without going through TX, loses me only 3 hours.

I've had a warrant out for my arrest in Texas for years now because of an unpaid speeding ticket. Fuck them.

You are fine unless you get pulled over in Texas. As long as you don't speed, you'll be fine driving through Texas.

I had a ticket for speeding in Utah that I didn't pay. Two years later I got pulled over in Oklahoma only to find out that my Missouri for speeding. The officer told me my license was suspended in Missouri. He took my license away and sent it back to Missouri. All because of the ticket in Utah.
States are communicating now. They want their monies. Sure they might not transport you back to Texas, but they will punish you somehow if you get pulled over again.
I don't speed anymore and I shake my fist angrily at people who pass me on the highway doing 90.

@Farmr: Some states do, others don't. CA doesn't give a shit about TX, or any other state AFAIK (paying a speeding ticket in another state provides CA with no income, so why bother spending money to collect it). The CA DMV is overworked already as it is without having to deal with violations from other states.
If your license is suspended for any reason, you will get a notice in the mail. If that happens, DO NOT IGNORE IT (just ask bizzy).
I don't speed either. It wastes gas. I shake my fist in anger at people who pass me doing 70.
