So every day, the same users call me because they can't get into the AS/400 or our BPCS application because they can't log on. I check the system and their account's disabled because they put in the wrong password 3 times. How can you screw up typing in the password when it's the SAME as your login, just so you couldn't screw it up?!

If they know they're so forgetful as to make their password the same as their login- they probably forget that each day and type their home email password instead.

@Chrome Raven: I believe the term you're looking for is PEBCAK.

What kills me is the indignant attitude. "Hey Rob, I think the computer's broke because I can't log into green screen. It says as/400 error after I put in the password to connect." So I go through the usual act of wrkusrprf, enable their login, tell them to type the right password because 3 wrong ones locks it, and they act like they've been doing it right all along.

I'm think I'm just going to find the most offensive lolcat I can find, and leave it on the desk of said offenders everytime they do that. Which is daily. Which means lots of trees to prove that they're stupid.
