Really, though, I don't know. I should take something before the ride? It's from here to Chicago. I didn't think that would be too long of a flight.

Mucinex is pretty much a godsend. You can get Mucinex DM OTC. Start taking two a day (one in the morning, one at night) for a few days before your flight to try it out.
