I can't believe it but I think my current cable/internet company is worse than Comcast. Thus I have no internet today and probably not tomorrow. I told them my opinion and they were offended by the Comcast comparison. Well, I'm offended by their service options so we're even.

I have quite a few gripes with Comcast and the fact that they're setting tiered data limits on subscribers disgusts me. However, the competition here isn't any better.
comcast sucked. twc is a little better but i still wish i had more options.
Comcast are the ones that just started capping peoples bandwidth, right?
@life: In the US, yes. Cable providers in Canada and Europe have been capping for years, but
A) They've been honest about it from the start.
II) It's starting to become an issue with things like games and movies being distributed by download.
I don't think I CAN switch to Comcast. :-( I'm with Cablevision/Optimum.
They gave us a cable modem on Fri. It has been dead for TWO days now. It takes FOREVER to speak to a person when I call them, and the service number is really-really hard to find in their manual, and they keep directing me to their website for all inquiries.
I CAN'T GO ONLINE, geez.
Once I do call them, if I tell them my home phone, the machine tells me they'll call me back. A) while I have a "home phone number" I don't have a phone, I don't want them to call me back, I want to talk to them NOW! c) if I HAD a phone it would be dead, this is why I'm calling!
Then I have to wait forever-forever to talk to anyone. With Comcast I can usually talk to a person in just a few moments really.
AND they are all "nope, can't help you today, we can send someone tomorrow but he'll come ANYTIME between 10 am and 8 pm and we can't narrow it down!" GJUJHHKHKHkkagkakdh
