I used to get 5 bars ANYWHERE AND EVERYWHERE, now I consistently get like 3 or 4, which isnt bad.. just weird. but seriously i get people yelling at me constantly like BITCH I'VE CALLED YOU 4 TIMES TODAY and I have NO missed calls.

my dad called and left me a voicemail at 10:30am. I seriously did not receive it until 2PM. WHAT THE HELL.

They are still serving me riiiiight. Seriously I love them. I wish everyone I knew would switch to them so I would never have to pay to call anyone. As it is I barely have to pay to call people now. With rollover minutes out the wazoo. I like it a lot. And I never miss calls or messages.

I had an old phone from when it was cingular and my service was - questionable. I switched phones and I think I'm getting better service - it at least doesn't take me years to receive picture texts like it used to. Though - they might be dropping my calls more. Or it's just my inability to use the new phone.

I had Cingular for nearly 8 years and during that entire time, I had maybe 3 dropped calls. A few months after AT&T bought Cingular (and shut off most of the Cingular towers), my dropped call rate went to about 3 a week. Over the last month, it's starting to push 1-2 a day.
AT&T sucks goat balls.

idk man. I have an iphone and it says att and its got an att sim... i think... ACTUALLY I SHOULD CHECK.
Oh ok yeah it does. so i dont know wtf is the problem over the last month but i'm gonna punch someone in the balls pretty soon.

yeah i had cingular forever and NEVER had a problem.
i don't really have a problem with dropped calls. i just have a problem with actually GETTING the calls. everyone says my phone either goes straight to voicemail, or NOTHING happens. they call me and just get dead air.

Call 611 and tell them you're not getting calls to your phone. Sometimes they can do a reset.

Yeah...I just called 611 the other day because my phone couldn't send/recieve MMS or connect to Verizon's Get it Now service... talked to a nice fellow named Sergio, who asked some questions and transferred me to Chris who reset some shit with my account and boom, I can send you pictures of kittens now.
I dunno if AT&T is as helpful, but it could be something wrong with your account and not your phone... worth a shot imo.

COme to think of it I did have some problems once, but it turned out they were building a new tower, or fixing a current one. And as soon as they were done everything was fine. This was only like a month of trouble.

texting issues up the waz. And when I say waz, I mean zoo.
Some texts get to their destination, some get there way late, and some don't get there at all.
Also, when I had my blackjack (the original v 1.0!) the time would somehow set itself to something crazy like 2AM, March 23, 2048.
I just got a BB curve yesterday, and I'm going apeshit with my crackberry.

@Dirty Lion - The Curve II is a nice phone. However, make sure you back it up often, as the new BB software is prone the unrecoverable App Err 523 crashes.
I've had them FOREVERRRRRRRRRR (and ever and ever and ever and ever) and never had any problems. But wtffff I am missing calls and getting voicemails HOURS later and not getting texts and what? It's driving me nutzo.
