Tonight, I added the ability to vote on posts, and also to mark posts as favorites.

I like the tags, but I don't think I need to see them until I go to the post page.
I never liked the thumbs down idea, but I'm a positive, feel-good internet hippie. Between thumbs up and favorite, you've got my spread. Getting thumbed-down always hurts.
I like the idea of things being ranked from best to less-best so that when you get tens of people on this site you can see the best stuff first.
I also like constructive feedback, but unfortunately most thumbs-downers are terrible people unwilling to leave a comment describing their experience, leaving instead an empty void in which the poster's inner insecurities can set up shop. Maybe the thumbs down is because I'm fat?
I welcome thumb-downs, in the same way that I encourage everyone to vote, even republicans. I'd prefer a more graduated system, though. Perhaps a sideways "acknowledged" thumb? OK, that's sortof dumb.
I thought about not having a thumbs down button, but these are going to be different than the Consumating thumbs. These will function more like the "flag this as bad" buttons. Maybe I will change it to say that explicitly.
@Dakota - I agree about the tags.
The pictures posted as pictures on the front page are whoppingly huge.
Maybe smaller size initially?
I haven't really voted, but I'm about to in the Texas primary.
Re: Thumbs down / thumbs sideways - I like the idea that eventually I could consider someone bland, even if everyone else votes up their posts.
That said, I'm not really voting. It's not easy enough.
BUT JESUS don't listen to us. That's the worst idea for designing a thing ever.

I also added tags!
