so, are you allowed to put coffee grounds in the dispose-all? I kinda did it anyway, and now it sounds like i put 3 or 4 matchbook cars in there.

eeeek. hm. i put my hand in a disposal once to get a spoon out, and it was so psychologically disturbing-
Yeah, every time I've had to do that, I got a mental picture of it turning itself on and grinding my hand to a stump.
I remember watching too many slasher flicks where the kid puts his hand in the disposal and starts screaming, but then his hand is actually just covered in oatmeal.
It's a corny prank, but I don't know what my roommate puts down the disposal, and I don't want oatmeal-hand.
Get some drano to clear the grounds. In the future, save your coffee grounds to fertilize a plant or throw them in the garbage.
yikes- thanks! i'll get some drano- when we move the roomie and i should get a little compost thingy- i wonder if those are a pain...
I still think there should be a book on what not to put down there.
I have clogged the dispos-all with so many weird things.
Dried pasta (was like 11), pumpkin(halloween 15yrs), potatoe (not alone...). Um and probably onions too. And other stuff I'm sure.

um, does this mean i have to put my hand in there?
