I prefer "Man of La Mancha," "Into the Woods," "Thrill Me!" "Jesus Christ Superstar," "Little Shop of Horrors" (although that goes along more with my love of do-whop) and "Notre Dame de Paris."

i had the misfortune of waking up to hear the soundtrack to RENT this morning.

i have a love hate relationship with musicals. i really dislike stage musicals taken to screen, and vice-versa. but i love musicals that are specifically made for the screen. and there are some stage musicals i really enjoy.
unfortunately there is a lack of understanding with regards to the difference between screen musical and stage musical.
