Yeah, that's why I didn't even turn it on.

Going to watch the Daily Show now and see if they could find anything humorous about last night.

See, I thought it was a lot less infuriating than Palin's speech. It was basically McCain saying "Hey, I'm running for president! Have I mentioned I was a soldier? OHAI, I was a POW too!" for about an hour. There was very little in the way of attacks on Obama, especially in comparison to the rest of the RNC, and very little in the way of policy.

I kept thinking that if he kept having to pause to let the crowd chant "USA! USA!", he run the real risk of needing a diaper change mid-speech. And really how embarrassing would THAT have been?

luckily, not having proper tv anymore, I am spared such things. But I heard clips of it on NPR this morning. Seriously, where the flip does this jerk get off casting himself as some political outsider at the forefront of change? Do people really buy this? Do they not *get* that he's been a D.C. Institution for *years*? How stupid can his constituents be?

did anyone else see the protesters unfurling banners from the balcony? I concur with the less infuriating that Palin sentiment.
