I'm not a smoker but I was raised by heavy smokers, so it's a little different to me. I figure those who smoke already know that it's bad for them and most are pretty decent at going outside or realizing what direction their smoke is going in. They don't need to be told its unhealthy. They know it is everyday.
It's weird, but the smell of cigarette smoke is actually a comforting smell for me. Smells like my childhood.
