they were pretty much my favorite band from the first moment i heard them, back when i was 14 or 15. didnt hurt the ex-drummer was from my town so it made it seem that much cooler at the time. also one of the very best bands ive ever seen live. theyve been together over 20 years now. whenever ihear them it reminds me of being back in my hometown, cruising to the beach with all the windows open and all of us singing our faces off. or hopping on the train to the city at 16 years old and sneaking booze with us. just shit like that. its always a good feeling.

We all worked at White Lotus Futon together. They mention it in the DVD. Also, I was on the front page of their website for about six months back in 2003 for some reason.

ha. thats pretty cool actually. i think part of the reason i enjoy them so much is because they are pretty down to earth guys. just like playing music. dont even really want to be famous so much as they just wanna play music as long as they can make a living out of it .
