Team, what's bothering you?

Oh yeah, so Bizz. Friday night, I'm gonna be up your way. I know my bff is gonna be hanging out too, but I sure could use a fun-guide to show me what to do up there.
I can't come up with a good comment for that photo of the boobie bride. This bothers me.
Rent is due today. That kinda sucks. I also have a test on thursday.
@ilikedginger: Stupid bank holidays. Are you still coming to SF this weekend? Wasn't sure if the unemployment thing had an effect on your plans...
@-j.: *HugS* (more than one, ya know, just in case.)
i have to pay my rent today, which means driving to the landlord's house because it won't arrive via mail in time.
my stomach feels squicky still, after like a week.
i want to lose 10 pounds because i spent all last night looking at pictures from this time last year and i looked better then.
Fuck no, I already bought my Lebowski Fest tickets, I can't skip it now!
@ilikedginger: K. I'll try to think of some fun things for you guys to do. I have a couple questions though... I'll note you.
I'm bothered by the fact that I can't go to the Lebowski fest this weekend because I'll be out of town. I both wanted to see Manuel play with the Extra Action Marching Band, and I wanted to meet ginger and make her my friend.
i'm kind of addicted to this dumb computer game and the computer keeps cheating.
also, talking to smart people who have truly irrational sentiments about politics.
@CM: I almost went with "You may now lol at the bride." I'm sure you'll think of something. What was your first reaction?
@JasAsian: Got enough $ for rent? I could paypal you a buck, if I have any leftover after my landlord deposits the check I just mailed him! What's the test for?
Ginger, good thing you bought those tickets early, they are sold out now. :
@more pepper: I read somewhere that blueberries are good for upset tummies. Don't know how true it is though... Anyway, how are you planning to lose 10 lbs? How long do you think it will take you? Where do you usually lose it first? (for me it's the arms & boobs. my hips and tummy are more stubborn!)
We're not going to the opening night, unfortunately, because we are poor and couldn't afford both. :(
Bowling Party tickets are still available though soooo ya know. People should buy them and go and hang out with us there.
@mizsarah: Where ya going??
@le_sacre: Computers are jerks like that sometimes. Don't give up! Also, what makes the people you're talking to seem irrational about politics? Are they overly emotional or something?
@bizz: i will try to find a gingerale probably.
i don't know how i will lose 10 pounds. i bet if i started running again it would be easy, but i am afraid of hurting my back. maybe i will have a 1-person pantsoff danceoff in my living room a few times a week. =)
usually i lose weight pretty evenly. my hips are the first place it's noticeable though, but only because it's suddenly a little easier to pull a skirt on and off.
Nowhere exciting, really. Russian River on Friday for a friend's birthday getaway house rental. Then Lafayette/Walnut Creek Saturday and Sunday for a cousin's wedding reception. Bleh.
@bizzy: mostly it's this one guy. he was a Clinton supporter and refuses to vote for Obama, despite acknowledging that their platforms are essentially identical. he's not going to vote for McCain either, but in his mind, Obama is no better. he expounded on his reasons at great length, but i still couldn't make sense of them--mostly it came down to Obama doesn't have executive experience/gravitas (which McCain has because he was a POW, and Clinton has because she's married to Bill). around the time he insisted that SCOTUS justice Stevens was right-wing, and that Obama's a likely target for assassination, i figured out that it was an enormous house of cards but he's just not enough of a listener to let it be knocked down.
@Peps- You have so little room to look any better.
But what's bothering me? It's been too long since I've seen you, bizzybaby.
@Manuel: Good luck on your show! Er, I mean... break a leg!
@pepper: I approve of Pantsoff Danceoff! I might incorporate this idea in my own weight loss efforts. Thanks for the idea!
@MizSarah: Rivers, birthdays, and weddings, oh my! You've got a busy weekend ahead... Hope you're able to steal a little alone time somewhere, somehow, for your sanity's sake.
@le_sacre: Has anyone ever come and knocked down your house of cards? If so, do you think that person's tactics would work on this guy you're talking to?
@J2: That's been bothering me too. A lot.
@bizzy: well, i live in the reality-based community, so my cards are a wee bit harder to knock down. :-)on the other hand, i'm in grad school in the sciences, which primarily consists of people perpetually trying to knock each other's houses down, so i'm pretty well versed in those methods of both knocking and being knocked. this guy had really good evasive tactics that defeat me because i can't interrupt people (he just kept talking until he was answering a different question than the one i asked)--someone quicker/more insistent than i might have more luck.
well rectify it. beach party, sept 13th, tell your friends. keep it real.
@le_sacre: I see. Well, I'd say patience is golden in these situations. If you can't get him to see where you're coming from, the best you can hope for is to somehow listen to his ramblings until he says something that makes sense. At least then he might put his guard down a little when he sees you're really going out of your way to understand his point of view, not that you aren't already, just... ya know... politics makes people really defensive and it's hard to tell between who just wants to be "right" and who actually wants to find a common ground.
I need to sleep
I need to clean my room
I need to find a way to see all my friends
my new computer is currently a $1k doorstop and I don't have time to take it to the compydoctor until later this week.
There is a lack of female companionship in my life because all the awesome ladies I know don't live here.
I don't have enough brains/hands/xboxen to play all the games I want to get played right now.
@Bizzy - oh, i've got enough money, it's just that walking to my leasing office to give them the check is nowhere near as exciting now that my complex changed owners and the two cute girls who worked in the office are no longer there.
My exam later this week is all about vagina and the babies that grow in them.
People I have to deal with at work are being petty and stupid. And I'm just back from holidays so this annoys me SO much more. Why can't everyone be full of love and happiness?
@Laydee O: Clean first, then sleep. Or invite your friends over to help you clean and then sleep with them! Two birds, etc.
@Chrome R: Where do you live? If it's anywhere near SF I'll gladly hang out (if I am awesome enough a lady).
@JasAsian: Ahh! I love hearing guys talk about cute girls who work in the office. It makes me wonder if some guy would say the same about me if I ever left my job :D Also, yay! Vaginas! Good luck on the test!
@sound of snowsuit: Have you tried showing them a little love? I know it's hard to be nice to people that are being stupid, especially coworkers, but it's usually the last thing they expect and sometimes even makes them realize what a douche they are being. Sometimes. So, maybe try do something nice for one of them (even if they really really really don't deserve it) or maybe just a compliment or pat on the back or something. Just to see what happens!
(I tried this at work with a lady that I can't stand 99% of the time. All I did was write on a post-it: "I hope Olga finds a reason to smile today." because she is always such a pessimistic biotch. I ripped up the note, threw it away, and not even an hour later a delivery guy walks in... a client had sent her flowers. She couldn't believe it! Neither could I!)
@bizzy - Good karma, hey? My co-workers are actually pretty good. These are external people and I'm being hella nice to them but they're just so focused on protecting their little empires! Ugh.
@bizzy: zinzinnati OH which is sadly nowhere near SF. You're definitely awesome enough. There was doubt?
@snowsuit boy: Aw, well in that case, have you thought about voodoo? :D Kidding. For the record though, I'm very very very very very very very very very very very very excited and full of joy that your holidays went well! You are a lucky lucky man!
@CR: Hehe. I don't like to assume. But thanks for the reassurance! :]
This insanely hot/awesome/rad dude who can't seem to stop flirting with me despite his g.f.
Update: Band has deemed me not ready for the show Friday, but I'm still going with them, just not playing. Fine with me, cause I'm still officially in.
Good, I feel less bad about missing the Friday show then.
You should get a ticket to bowling night. Bizz is gonna be there, too.
Ah well even if I was playing and if you were going, you probably wouldn't see me, its suppose to be cah-razee, lots of sweat, people, mosh pit-iness, confusion and end up with an instrument in places you prefer not to be touched... or something like that...

The boredom. And the fact I made a deposit on Saturday and it still isn't showing up in my account.
