I just got back from Denmark a few weeks ago. I encountered a bazillion flight delays coming back to San Francisco, including being stuck on the runway in Washington-Dulles. Of course, even though I live in San Francisco, I still decided to take a 1.5 hour train ride to my mom's right when I left the airport b/c she was babysitting my dog and I missed him SOOOO much that I had to go home and get him....at 2AM.
Yeah, crazies.

Glad you got in safe! Flight schedules have been so crazy lately, it's almost a stroke of luck if you don't have crazy layovers or switcheroos all over the place.

@Belle - Just to Canada to see my girl. It wasn't too bad a trip back and was only an hour late.
@Evangeline - I think getting a direct flight helped. Even if it was a bazillion dollars more expensive.

@mizzchelle - holy shit! That's horrible. I got a nice seat with lots of legroom.
But the trip was amazing. I can't believe I was stupid enough to try and do it in 9 days, though!
You poor thing. That would suck.
