So, it's that part of the year where everyone starts asking me what I want for my birthday. And I stutter and have no idea. Any suggestions? Or, what do you want for your birthday? Maybe I'll get inspired.

Well, I doubt my friends are getting me anything. This is more - mom, dad, grandparents. And dr's orders - I have to cut back on drinking. So, I don't think asking my parents for booze works. : /

ask for something unexpected.  like a book, album, film, or project that it would never have occurred to you to try.
