'Bout to watch Sopranos. For the first time ever.

I started because I have nothing else to watch and makes me swoony over NY/NJ. I feel like I"m a little bit closer... LAWL
I'm hopeful that I'll like this, I loved the Black Donnelys. :( That show was cut too short.
oh man the black donnellys was my favorite show that got cancelled mid season ever. plus olivia wilde was really hot in it.
@skanko: I was doing a horrible LDR at the time with a fellow on the East Coast and ugh... watching that show made me feel closer. *EYE ROLL* It was because of the accents.
I'm really horrible sometimes.
well i was just about to say that we dont really talk like that. but then ir emembered it was based in boston. and boston people do have those ridiculous accents a lot of times. but trust me when u watch the sopranos, nj isnt that guido. i promise. (but i loved the sopranos)
wtf ever happened to the black donnellys? they hyped it so hardcore and then it was completely, like, overshadowed by heroes or something. that made me sad.
i love boston accents. mmfh.
@Skanko: People in Boston don't really talk as bad as they do in The Departed and other films. I'm tired of people asking me where my accent is. (I live in GA now.)
@sven and manny - not even after the first season they cut the first season short :( i was sad.
@boldaslove - oh im sure, same as the way people from jersey have never ever said JOISEY in thier lives, yet people think thats how we talk.
hah this thread inspired me to create a thread about regional misconceptions.
I'm on the 4th season now. I don't feel 'addicted' but I am still very interested and love vegging out in front of the TV for a few episodes.
i thought the 4th was the worst season i think or wait, was it 6 seasons long? i cant remember. i dunno the last 3 seasons kinda lost my interest but i ahd to find out how it ended.
season 2 was the best by far.

I've tried avoiding it for the longest time, but I finished Rome last night. Sigh.
