Dude the recession is a bitch. After about 7 months of searching I finally got a new job which I started today. It pays about $3/hour less than my last job but I'll take what I can get.

I'm going back to be an optician, right now they are leaning towards having me do quality control for the surface department. Details have to be ironed out, but pending a start date I will be able to leave the house soon.
