if you want the plug in car, you really need to make a determination on how the majority of the power in your area is generated. if there's still a lot of coal fired power, you're not doing much to shrink your carbon footprint.

i am on the second floor and the more i think about it the more dumb the idea is. I am sure there will be rules against running cords to cars. Anyone could unplug it or cut it and that would mean no going to work the next day.
segway seems like a better idea... atleast i can charge it at home
I was JUST thinking the same thing this morning. I live on the fifth floor, so I'd have to run the cord down through the hall and out the window overlooking the parking lot.
