I just found out the girl I dated for 4 years through college is now engaged. It's odd.

true. but i know she really wants me to be there, i just would feel awkward and like i didn't belong.

The only woman I dated who's ever gotten engaged is so unstable that when I heard she was engaged, I knew it would only last a month, if that.

@rearden - very true. if i had stayed with her id have ended up in a pennsylvania nightmare. shes a good girl, just werent right for each other.

@namrock - hahah, that does sound kinda satisfying, but i hold no ill will towards her, i genuinely think she'll be fine and whatnot. i just dont really want to be a part of it.

@manuel - see the problem is she knows me well enough to know that, in fact i think ive told her that before in hypothetical conversations, yet i know it still means al ot to her and she'll probably still ask.
