It was a page-turner. I've been looking for someone to hand my copy off to. Share in the glee.
I like the cover art. And as one who chronically judges books by their cover, that's a good thing.
I'll have to put it in the queue. I've had Stand on Zanzibar there for a while, but this sounds more relevant. Or prescient.

This is the cover of my copy. I really like the original cover art.
Omm...: "January: NO BIGGER THAN A MAN'S HAND: .... The alleged rise of intelligence in so-called backward countries is acribed by scientists who conducted the three-year investigation to improved diet and sanitation, while the as-yet unconfirmed decline in advanced nations is attributed to intensified pollution. Asked to comment on the report just prior to leaving for Hollywood, where he is tonight slated to open his annual retrospective, [President] Prexy said, quote, Well, if they're so smart why aren't they clever? End quote."
No I haven't read that one.
I've read one book by him (The Squares of the City) and it was excellent, and a very thinly veiled commentary on Brasilia.
Nope. I've got a mountain of books on the list, so I don't even know when I'd be able to get to it.

Sounds like it's worth reading based on Gibson's blurb.
