How do I report him or whatever?

flag it within flickr and they'll investigate. If you know where he lives you could pass the link on to the state authorities.

uh, thats a strong-ass accusation to make.

Yeah, I just clicked on the link and my perv-o-meter went of the charts. I wouldn't let him take pics of my kids.

@sven: Could be wrong, could be right. Hopefully it's all inocent, but even if it is, it still gives me the creeps. I have a daughter and two sons and sometimes you just have to follow your instincts with your kids.

http://www.flickr.com/report_abuse.gne if you seriously feel this to be the case.

While I'm in agreement with Sven that such accusations should not be made lightly, this guy looks a little suspect when you look closely.

Having groups such as "Artistic Child Photography" "Tweens and Teens" and that weird profile statement, along with a public photo that looks enough like a preteen upskirt shot that I wouldn't be inclined to put it on the internet if it were me.

Having said all that, let's not get carried away here. His photo's lack genuine artistic merit but then so do most people's. I'm not inclined to think Rineke Dijkstra, Sally Mann or Jack Sturges are pederasts and all three are far more controversial in their subject matter. Just because this guy is a poor photographer doesn't mean he is. If he thinks kids make cute photographic subjects that's no reason to assume he wants to fuck them. And who's to say that having private photo's isn't actually a precaution to avoid such photo's falling into the hands of pederasts?

Calmly draw it to flickr's attention, without making any pre-judgments or accusations, let them take a look at his non-public photo's and let them handle it.

noooners said, (137 days ago)

um, are you kidding? he probably has a job at like wal-mart photographing kids and this is his portfolio. there is no nekkidness there.

Little p said, (137 days ago)

any time a man wants to photograph children for a living- well, i'm going to suspect his is a pedo. But I'm a little jumpy. anyway, I did find this one too:
http://home.earthlink.net/~photosbycraig/index.html

this may or may not be the same dude, but again, any guy that takes pictures of children for a living...

Henrietta said, (137 days ago)

He has a "friends and family" area on his Flickr which means he's hiding something from us. I think we should investigate.

om nom nom said, (136 days ago)

big whoop. he thinks kids are cute. do you think the hacks that take close ups of flowers are fucking the botany?

Naturelle Rivera said, (136 days ago)

do i really need to revive slutbaby here?

If there was anything suspect in his private photos, considering he's been a member for months already, I'm sure flickr would have had it taken care of by now. Y'all are jumping to conclusions. It's flickr, it's not like he's got a bunch of kid pictures hosted on some imageshack library for the creeps on EFnet or something.

What I want to know is who put that one girl in a belly shirt.

Also: the captions are my creepy.

Henrietta said, (136 days ago)

To be honest, the Frecklefaced Kid is kind of on the ugly side.

Henrietta said, (136 days ago)

I want to know why exactly he's putting these photos on Flickr!

T.S. Eliot said, (136 days ago)

I feel bad that I'm fascinated by this. I'm on page 31 and I have only seen like 5 photos that are not of little girls. Some of them Are quite vulgar.

"fucking the botany" is my new favorite phrase - the awesomeness of that is like, blowing my mind

He may be a pedo, but the parents shouldn't let pre-pubescent children wear outfits like this:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/craigsworld2008/2738078498/in/set-72157606846530090/

Honestly, is this really necessary?

ick.

it's a dance performance. they wear costumes. what's next? olympic gymnastics = kiddie porn?

bold as love said, (136 days ago)

The pictures by the pool seem like he's in the next yard.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/craigsworld2008/page6/

"Show Photos Reposted with Permission for parents to get copoes of their dancers."
Maybe he already got hassled about his pictures, or is trying to prevent trouble. I'd be creeped out if there was a strange man at my kid's dance recital taking photos. However if he asks the parents after the show for permission and promises them copies, it seems innocent enough. Little to they know little Ashley might be the star of his wet dreams that night.

PS: I'll be damned if this isn't a women's neglige/teddy/"sexy" nightgown.

halon said, (136 days ago)

From the resident law enforcement agent here, I agree with Slow Poke. Flag the profile, and let them investigate. If there's nothing to be found, so be it. This is the internet, and nobody has complete privacy anymore. Perception is everything. If it looks like a duck, and sounds like a duck... it bears investigation to see if it really is a duck.

Little p said, (136 days ago)

YAY! you're here! this is totally a case for the halon

beccah. said, (136 days ago)

I flagged him based on the photoshop set..
http://www.flickr.com/photos/craigsworld2008/sets/72157606846427876/

As a parent to a little girl, I find the some (not all) of these photos to be WAY too provocative. If this guy is a professional, he'd know that some of this stuff is completely inappropriate to be posting, let alone taking.

I reckon the more reports, the more likely there'll be an investigation.

noooners said, (136 days ago)

@oom mau mau OMG I KNOW i feel like the real problem here is that the kids are being creepy and wearing nasty shit.

HOWEVER

FOR GOD'S SAKE TIFF THE FRECKLED FACE KID HAS BREASTESES. SHE IS TOO OLD TO BE PHOTOGRAPHING WET IN HER UNDERWEAR. ew.

beccah. said, (136 days ago)

Actually.. this one is MUCH MORE SCARY.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/27995426@N03/

Flagged it too. Who knew flickr could be so yuck?

bold as love said, (136 days ago)

@beccah: It says canniplay is no longer active on flickr. Hmmm.

I decided to start flagging pictures when I got to these:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/craigsworld2008/2698166173/in/set-72157606864670620/

noooners said, (136 days ago)

@bold O GOD THAT FIRST ONE. like i can't decide if it's just that kids are too provocative today because of pop culture or if this dude's just creepy.... or both. UGH

bold as love said, (136 days ago)

@noon: I think it's a mix of both. The kids don't understand that they're being exploited and may "play along." But these photos are definitely sick. He added new pics today. One is just of two girls asses. A comment on the first photo on the first page says, "Thanks for the wet hair photo. Join our group.." with a questionable picture of a young girl attached in the comment.

beccah. said, (136 days ago)

@bal: YAY. That means I got him deleted..

I'm wondering if the difference between craig & canniplay is because craig is a pro memeber.. maybe they have to go farther cut off a paying customer.

bold as love said, (136 days ago)

@beccah: That's a good point. Also, what state is Craig in? I showed the site to my mom and she agrees that it's highly suspicious, especially when you look at the groups he belongs to. She suggested maybe tipping of the Center For Missing & Exploited Children. I'd need more evidence to take it that far. However I'd rather be safe than sorry.
