I'm going to sneak into an abandoned "Lunatic Asylum" on Sunday. I couldn't be more excited.

@Skanko: no but I to go! I've been to Clinton Road, and some other places on weird NJ though.
also I heard that they are going to tear it down and build a park or something
@beccah - thats WHY im going. durrrr. i just wish i had some more lenses.
@manuel - come along.
@still sleepin - this will be my first trip to any of the weird nj mentioned sites. im pumped.
@ss - i heard that too, they finally abandoned ALL of the buildings (not just the kirkbride one) in July of this year, so there still is some time before they tear it down.
@skanko: I grew up in Kinnelon and there is this old mansion that we used to hang out all the time. It's on weird NJ, growing up near West Milford I heard tales of Clinton road so my friends and I used to drive on it waaay back in highschool and it is super creepy.
Where are you from in the dirty Jerz?
i grew up in toms river, but now i live in lawrenceville (like 10 minutes from princeton and 15 from trenton. smack dab in the middle)
I'm extremely envious.. btw.. urban exploring is something I'd loooove to get into.. be careful, btw!
@Skanko: wow so that's a trek up to the greystone. I have friends that live down the road and sometimes the loony's would escape and they would hear people wandering on their property and their dogs would go crazy barking. They once asked me to dog-sit and I was so freaked out I couldn't do it!
@beccah - yeah im really hoping that this will be the beginning of a lot more of it. apparently cops troll the area regularly, but usually dont do anything besides tell you to leave if they catch you, so im not really worried.
@ss - yeah that IS creepy. there are also supposed to be some underground tunnels between the 5-6 different buildings that must be outstandingly scary. if i get in it will be totally worth the drive.
ewww you better bring some sage to wash that shit off of you before you come home.
places like that are infested with bad energy and you don't want to bring that stuff home with you.
I am green with envy. Here, developers tear things down too fast for me to properly spelunk them.
@sven - oh well shit. i certainly dont want that. do i have to go to some sort of witch store now to find a potion to protect me or something?

I think itll make for some good pictures.
