Civil procedure, torts, criminal law, and legal research and writing!
omg, scurvboy, is *that* why you moved north? geez. i hope you will not be in such hell as to not have time for me in october!
That's a really good intro curriculum. Saves contracts to balance out property next term.
How did you like it?
@artschooled: THX!
@catcarlton: of course silly! It would have taken a lot to get me to just leave San Diego of my own accord. (In fact, I got in here a year and a half ago and then deferred for a year 'cause I couldn't bring myself to leave yet) Nevertheless, looking at the syllabi I have so far, it looks like I shouldn't have problems reading ahead a bit for occasions when I need to make sure I have some time available (knock on wood veneer)
@H55: Well, it's really only just beginning, and the classes were all pretty introductory so far. Nevertheless, as it shouldn't be a surprise since I'm at Berkeley, my Criminal Law professor is a former prosecutor who seems to be against the prison-industrial complex, and my torts professor specializes in electronic privacy torts, which is one area I could see myself really getting into (software background and youthful idealism and all), so I think I'm going to like it just fine.
@scurvy: that is a good lineup, then. do you have the typical demonic procedure prof?
@h55: not sure. First class tomorrow at 10am
@catdoorwoman: True. And I know you've said it before, but when exactly are you going to be up here again? I need to note it in my plannr.
@artschooled: why, thanks! Maybe save some serious pride until I've actually done well, though! BTW, are you in the continent of North America now? I think I will be making another mix CD again soon, now that my laptop finally burns CDs again
i'll be there oct 8 thru 16thish. the big karaoke miasumeet is scheduled for sat oct 11. plannr plz.

Scurv, I had no idea. You're so brainy! If you're at Hastings, that's literally a 10-minute walk from where I live and work. We should definitely grab a drink sometime.
Congrats on getting in to law school, and good luck with everything!

Congrats man! What do they have you doing first semester? Procedure, torts, contracts, and writing?
