Sarah, you are not helping. I would like to start a boycott. Then the only way to get us to go to shows is to NOT contact us. I predict roaring success. And the death of local theater.

B, I told them I appreciate why they're sending me their email, but in the future I would prefer if they hide their mailing list or take me off of it. They quite politely responded that they completely understand and they would never poach emails and bla bla bla.
It wasn't this one email- I would never extrapolate so much from one email- but I do have several friends who are actors. Hell, sometimes I even go to shows- remember Pepper?
And Twigby- Thank god there's more than one burlesque dancer in the world. Otherwise, no matter how good she may be the audience might get a little bored. Also, I think your caps lock key might be on, look for a button with a little light on it and push it. There, that was my good deed for the day.

I was an actor for a long time, so as a result there are people who knew me ten years ago who still send me 50 emails every time they're in a new play. And the WORST part is that they don't hide that shit- therefore causing every other actor to take my email address and send me emails about their shit. And you know what? I'm probably not going to see the shit the people I know are in- so why am I going to come see your piece of crap play written from the point of view of a dog who discovers he has fleas? DEATH TO ACTORS. The exception, of course, is anyone I truly like.
