I'm alive. This weekend I camped on the bed of a river filled with crocodiles; I went to Zimbabwe and traded clothes and food for souvenirs; I lost my passport IN ZIMBABWE; Got my passport back and got back into Botswana; Got a fever of 103.2 F; Laid in bed in a feverish haze for two and a half days. ALL WITHOUT INTERNET.

Luckily I'm with 7 nursing students and an amazing nurse practitioner. They got me into a freezing cold shower - afraid that if the fever didn't come down, I'd start seizing - and pumped me full of meds. The fever broke Sunday night, and by this morning was gone, though I still have a rattling chest cough.
Blah. I just want to feel better.
Okay, but we expect reparation internet whinging to account for the whole weekend starting now. We demand updates lady!
(btw- *hugs*)
Jeebus. No internet. Wow.
:D
Seriously though, don't die and make more excellent videos ... in that order.
Any idea what caused the fever? I hope it's not something that lingers.
that's a pretty scary high fever...where you out in the boonies when you got it, or close to medical facilities?
Good god, girl. Fever and missing passport both mega scary. Glad you've made it through both.

Exciting! But when you get sick, do you have to nurse yourself?
