I got suckered into being president of a club for this year. It has had a largely negative impact on my ability to slack off and play on the Intertubes.

We have a monthly newsletter, monthly board meetings, several events each month organized by different members, a web site in desperate need of rebuilding, bylaws that need updating. And none of the lamers on the board would step forward to run the nominating committee for this year's board of directors election, so I got stuck with that too.

Lots of people and things to chase down, and I'm just not the organized type...
