Hey, X-Box 360ers, does it seem like there's a lot of High-Profile stuff dropping onto LIVE lately?
Also, have you tried Braid yet? It's like Emo Mario Bros. , and God help me it's beautiful.

SFIIHDR is so going to launch in fall
Is braid good? i saw you playing t last night.
I'm pumped for Castle Crashers but NOT pumped about the 22 dollar (canadian probably 25) price tag
I really need to get my xbl set up.
*mutter* stupid cost of wifi adapter.
i can't believe no 3rd party hasn't made a vastly cheaper wifi adapter
seriously, a 100 bucks, wtf?
@TWIGBy: Having only played the demo, I'm going to tentatively say, yes, it's good. First of all, it's friggin beautiful. The itty-bitty trailers don't do it justice in that regard. It's all very high-res handpainted graphics with very nice Celtic-influenced music.
The gameplay is what I really want to try out in the full version (I was out of MS Points. Need to get paid). It looks like a platformer but it's actually more of a puzzle game and requires you to play with time in some pretty devious ways - as seen above: both of those videos are from the first level. Apparently it gets quite difficult.
The story is about this recent collge grad who's trying to repair his relationship with the Princess. She left him because he lied to her and abandoned her and was basically being a douchebag.
So, yeah, Emo Mario Bros.
exactly.
on the other hand, it will cost me ~50 bucks for enough ethernet cord to run along the baseboards. I think next paycheck this is my project.
@Chrome Raven: Yeah, if I was dependent on a wireless router, I'd be screwed. But, you know, small apartment, desktop computer, everything set up on the same entertainment center - I had the option of just having everything be wired.
Also, last night I discovered that Johnny and teejay rock at Geometry Wars 2. It was disheartening, really.
And I'm really looking forward to Bionic Commando Re-Armed. Notsomuch Next-Gen Bionic Commando, though.
@Chrome: How much cat5 do you need? Depending on length, we may have some in the back, I can make you a cord and send it off.
Ethernet cables are HORRIBLY over-priced, it's really disgusting.
I played through the trial of Braid- it's gorgeous and the puzzles it had were very well done for a 2d platformer. There was an "Oh, wow, that's pretty awesome how they did that," gaming dynamic I wasn't expecting in that demo.
I may have to buy it when I get home and add more points.
@ABNA: paste the embed code into the "(Share an) Essay" blank. Save it, click edit, then resave it.
@teejay: I was saddened that I didn't have the MS Points to buy it then and there. It's going to have to wait until I get paid.
Sadness. Until then, the Princess will continue to be in another castle.
i was going to say @chrome can't you find someone to, you know, steal some cable for you?
my monster 50ft was made by a cousin of mine a while back when he was the network admin at this small office.
I think ~75 feet should do the trick. All the folks I know who might at one time have stolen the cable for me, are no longer in positions to do so. =/
I'd have it already, if there was not something wrong with the last of the cabling I have but alas, it's not sending a proper signal through. sadface.

Braid and Geometry Wars 2 and 1942 Joint Strike out this week.
Bionic Commando out next week.
Castle Crashers out in two.
And SFIIHDR needs to come out soon if it's going to hit its projected Summer 08 window.
