CHICAGO OR BUST!
Replies
um, but, on the list:
lots of walking around in the loop area, millenium park, other parks, magnificent mile, etc.
museum type places to go to, which i haven't decided between: the aquarium, museum of science & industy, field museum, art institute of chicago, etc.
and a bachelorette party and a wedding.
and lots of eating.
Definitely do the aquarium. Field museum too, if you can fit it in. Those should be priorities!
oh, thank you for the advice! i've been unsure about which to do (though the aquarium sounds especially fantastic).
oh, and there's that planetarium?
@erica: yeah, i probably wouldn't have even been invited to this wedding if i wasn't like "I WANT TO COME TO CHICAGO, SO INVITE ME, OKAY?"
well, i maybe didn't use those exact words, but that was the sentiment, at least.
the adler planetarium is pretty cool. my friends went when they were in town and loved it.
have F-U-N! I wish I could suggest places to go to but I've only driven through. On a bus. I don't suggest that.
@erinz: haha, well, i will probably at least be using the buses to get around, so the experience will be somewhat replicated?
@cocktails: ahhh, so many things to do!! it's so hard to decide what to skip!
oh no, I am talking Greyhound and I am talking gah-ross. Haha, I am sure the public transpo is fiiiine, I am usually a huge fan.
Do you have a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes? Is it dark? Are you wearing sunglasses?
If you answered 'yes' to all of the above, Hit it.
but i'm way less than 206 miles from chicago. can i still hit it?
but gtiing=boring, in comparison with chicagoing, so i'm outta here again.

So Ms. Rink, what ARE you doing in Chicago, anyway?
