I forgot to think up something to avoid this month (this will make sense to those who know me, or read my blog). Suggestions?

Manuel - I saw that, and it's a good one. I do rely on it pretty much. The boy said I should give up the phone complete and depend on land lines for a month, but I'm not sure if I can do that.
AL - that would be crazypants. I would cry every night. I just can't quit you.
Give up GTI! (I mean I don't *want* you to, but see if you can!)
white flour... red meat... sex... (no actual reason that should come after meat...) chocolate...
I'm glad you're doing this so I don't have to.
WHY are you avoiding things? It's not Lent until March and you're not Catholic anyway.
I totally appreciate all these suggestions. I keep thinking of doing meat again, but as I was a vegetarian for six years, it seems too easy.
MÃ…NKI - to see if I can!
It's to evaluate these things in my life that I use as crutches. And to see what happens afterwards - when I gave up drinking, I edged back into it, for example. Since I gave up fast food, I've only gone twice in six months. I use my credit card less now for day-to-day things and use for big things like car repairs.
I suppose I could follow the steps of Sarah and Gabe and try refined sugars (she says, sipping her Coke).
You know, alternatively, you could volunteer somewhere for a month.
I've been fake volunteering at the Food Bank. I call it fake because moving around carrots is way easier to do than working the kitchen or spending time at a half-way house (I've done that too).
But on the avoiding area...
Limit your laptop use to one battery charge per day? So basically, dont use the computer longer than how much the battery can hold. (Of course, using your batteries like that is not idea.)
You know, I seriously considered giving up my car for a month (except that I'd still need to move it at least once a week for street cleaning, grrr). I'm still planning on it, but I just don't have the guts for it yet.
You can avoid me having to pay Sunday brunches? Does that count? You get to avoid something and I get to eat more? That way we both win! Yay!
I haven't been driving at all lately(it's a 43things goal I'm working on) and I'm liking it so much, I'm thinking about getting rid of my car entirely.
If I didn't have family and a best friend in San Jose, it would be much easier. Public transpo in that town is the suck.
