I can't believe I just NOW realized that Tiffany's username refers to her preference for Ginger over Mary Anne of Gilligan's Island fame.  All this time I seriously thought she was just professing her love for the Asian tuber (har har), and I couldn't figure out why it was in past tense.  Did she have some kind of traumatic seasoning accident, I wondered?  Was it just a typo?  And did she specifically like it ground (lame) or fresh (awesome)?  In baking (meh) or cooking and salads (yeah!)?

Now that I've had my epiphany though, I have other questions to ask.  Namely, who the heck did not like Ginger?  There's a reason I love Joan Holloway on Mad Men so.

No offense to tiff, but I thought ginger was a bit of airheaded ho. I liked maryanne better..

But you know it's all about gilligan anyhow, right? :)

Ginger was glamorous and smart in her own way. I mean, the lady was resourceful. It takes some skill to look that glamorous everyday on some podunk island!

Mary Anne was vaguely forgettable, and kinda vapid.

I can't believe young people actually watch gilligan's island when there's DEGRASSI.

Most average people like Mary Ann, but as my profile says, I never cared for the girl next door. I will always prefer glamor and catty wit to boring, plain, simple, easy.
