Moving out is hard on the soul.

I really hate going through all of my stuff and deciding what to do with it.

What am I supposed to do with all of these little odds and ends that aren't really junk but aren't anything I really want to keep? I guess I need to have a garage sale.

I have no idea at all what to do with old textbooks for obsolete computer software, like Peter Norton's Guide to DOS 6.22 ..it's in perfect condition too, cause it never got used.

I've never moved before. So, there's a lot of stuff to go through.

I remember when I first moved back from Texas, my boyfriend at the time was from Brazil and he was helping me unpack my stuff.

I kept asking him if I should keep this or that. And whenever I wanted to keep something, he'd ask me why. A lot of the things I wanted to keep would have memories tied to them and he used to say to me that in Brazil it was bad luck to keep clothes and things that I dont use on a regular basis just because of memories, because it tarnishes the integrity of the memory.

Might all be hooplah and such, but anyways it kind of helped me to realize I have those memories in my head and they dont necessarily need to be tied to a bunch of "stuff".
