I know that I must be getting older because I was watching "My So-Called Life" trying to reminisce about my youth and I realized that I have more in common now with the parents then a kid in a highschool. It kinda freaked me out.

Yea, I had a similar moment a few weeks ago. I'd like to be a kid again. I'm also Turning 25 in 3 months. EEEEK!

I need to make a show about my life.
Make it easily relatable to my age group, the out of college, late 20's not yet 30, living with roommates, not getting paid enough, dealing with friends getting married, having babies, moving away, drinking on weekends...but not quite pathetically Bridget Jonesish, and not quarter-life crisis either...just that in between place.
I'm waiting for a show like this on TV

I'm sure i'd be a hit.

I'd like to think we're not the only two that feel this way.

@dann:I don't think that we are. When I turned 25 I felt this really strange thing, like wow where did 10 years go??? I've been out of highschool for 10 years now. THAT is a trip.

we bought the boxed set of MSCL and noticed that there is RARELY an episode where two things -don't- happen:

A) Angela makes the cry-voice
B) Her parent screw

*parents

HAHAHA.
the cry voice...totally.
The parents screwing I never picked up on that! I thought the weren't that's why they were having problems.

they allude to them fucking all the time. And it's especially disturbing in the scenes when they wake up naked. It's like seeing your own parents naked, in a way. *shudder*

so not the only ones.

but weren't all those Slacker/gen X films released 15 years ago about this sort of thing? so really they already exist. They're just not new.
