Does anyone read short story collections? Any recommendations?

yes, The Best American NonRequired Reading (and annual) is hands down the best book I read every year. I recommend them to EVERYONE I know.
Oo. I guess I'm asking because I have to do a collection for my thesis. So I'm trying to come up with some comparable examples. :)
I'd recommend this:

If you want to go with the master of the short story, look up O. Henry. No, not the candy bar.
@DarylZero - if I didn't know who O.Henry was I'm pretty sure I'd have books thrown at me in the hallway of my school.
It's not to really compare stories - but more so to know how many I should include and what creates a "balanced" collection - rather than just thrown together willynilly.

Bradbury... ALL THE WAY.
