T/F: an item of equal hilarity makes you laugh a hundred times harder if you see it with another person.

@booknutdc: And now you know how to get cake, yes? ;-)
@le_sacre: F. That was funny, regardless if the experience was shared.
hm, what are you saying exactly, booknutdc?
so i'm looking at these hilarious cakes, smiling to myself--as is my wont--at the especially hilarious ones, and then i notice in the comments that others report laughing themselves sick when they find this site. i can't remember the last time i laughed myself sick, and i've definitely never done so while solo-surfing the interwebs. does this mean i'm a sad little man, or perhaps that my laughing in the company of others is merely a social reflex to curry favor?
I'm saying that I'll laugh a lot harder if I was looking at those cake pics with my BFF. Also, by myself, I can laugh just as hard but no one would be around to hear my side comments, like - "that weird cake looks like you know who's baby!" Of course i could mutter that comment to myself and laugh.
