Democracy - even in its most ideal state - cannot lay claim to the set of all rights. Moreover, one can easily argue that a democratic government is just as capable of depriving people of their rights as any other form of government. But honestly, I don't know which is more unsettling: that one can collapse the concepts of democracy and human rights together as a matter of course, or how quickly the subject turned to economics.

Chrome Raven I am so glad you know about that. My friends and I always joke about the way they made some of those lines "suitable" for cable tv. That was the greatest overdub in the history of overdubs. "This is what happens Larry! This is what happens when you meet a stranger in the alps!!!!"
