Pay the higher ups in cartons of smokes and oil drum hooch, and scurry about our normal businesses, I presume.
Hey, it works in the pen, and is pretty much the whole Russian economy.
@booknut: Ooo, can we also keep it on the q-t? I don't really know what "the q-t" stands for, but I love it when Danny Devito says it in LA Confidential.
I'll stand by to watch your back to prevent capture, and eventually warm to you and become your brother in arms.

crazy shit, man... crazy!
Democracy - even in its most ideal state - cannot lay claim to the set of all rights. Moreover, one can easily argue that a democratic government is just as capable of depriving people of their rights as any other form of government. But honestly, I don't know which is more unsettling: that one can collapse the concepts of democracy and human rights together as a matter of course, or how quickly the subject turned to economics.
@Manuel: Were you really referencing that terrible Nick Cage movie??? I got the ref, but blech. :P
Chrome Raven I am so glad you know about that. My friends and I always joke about the way they made some of those lines "suitable" for cable tv. That was the greatest overdub in the history of overdubs. "This is what happens Larry! This is what happens when you meet a stranger in the alps!!!!"

oh no! we have no rights! what ever shall we do?!?!?!?
heh.
