@ben: I'm sure my opinion is not one you value, however, I do feel the need to speak up. I've even come out of a "break" for this. I don't know the actual wording of what was said - I do however know that I've said things like I'm going to hit/kick/punch you to people throughout my time on consu/gti. I've never been threatened with deletion, nor deleted.
If you look at the boston thread where all this apparently happened, Celisse/Sven/Phro also threatens violence against Danny... how is that acceptable, whereas his is not?
I realize this is your website, and I also realize if you want to rename us all as numbers, that is indeed your perogative.. but I don't think that you're gonna attract people by favoring one set of people over another... which is exactly what it appears that you're doing.
Again, this is just my two cents, and I'm fairly certain you don't want to hear it...
But this WHOLE ISSUE could easily be resolved if you added the feature we had on consu, whereby you could delete people's comments out of your own thread.... you're only one man.. how can you possibly handle everyone's problems with everyone else? This to me, seems like an easy solution, that doesn't banish someone who hasn't done anything that hasn't been done before..

@beccah - The whole issue is actually that I found Danny's behavior totally incompatible with my ability to have him around anymore, and he had to go. I don't know, subscribe to, or comment in Celisse's threads, but I will not tolerate the kind of things he was saying to her.
That humanity disappoints, unfortunately, cannot be fixed by deleting comments.

@ben: I agree with you on the point that deleting comments doesn't solve the world's problems, however, I do think it would be beneficial here. I don't know what you know about me and what you don't, but I'm pretty much a pariah.. no one likes me, or my opinions.. but I still spout them, because that's my right to do so.. I know people have issues with me, and would prolly rather just get rid of my comments in their threads, as I would like to be able to delete the fake profile comments from my threads.. but alas, nothing I can do. I tolerate it.
Again, I know this is your domain to do with as you please, but I implore you to think about what is fair. Why is it fair to punish one for a certain behaviour, but not another? Was the slander that Celisse/Sven/Phro was throwing around not essentially the same thing? And again, she made a threat of violence against him... It just doesn't make sense why one person gets treated one way, and another, differently... are you playing favourites?

@teejay, it's been drawn out forever. Most people could get away with talking shit, but Celisse has tried to make peace with Danny twice and after that didn't work, tried to get him to just leave her alone. But it didn't, instead he goes into her Boston thread saying that if she moved there, he'd give her a black eye. So he was deleted. Then he came back and talked MORE shit. And was deleted again.

I'd be mad if someone was deleted just for being unlikeable. That's pretty ridiculous. There are still people here who don't seem very liked, and some of them don't even seem to like anyone else, but if they want to be here, well, fine.
