it's my boy Clive Owen, playing the character of theo in _children of men_. best film of 2006--i mean, apart from _garfield: tail of two kitties_, obvs. it seemed to me like it didn't get a lot of promotion--i feel like almost no one saw it, despite extremely good reviews.
yeah, there's something appealing about a ruggedly handsome, deeply human reluctant hero risking his life to protect the world's last hope in the form of a newborn infant. i don't know, that gets to me somehow. oh Clive, when will you come and rescue me?
That's a mighty respectable character.
