I work at a library and see thousands of books daily. Post anything you have recently read or read about that held your attention for any amount of time.

Everything written by Mary Roach. It makes you laugh AND smarts you up!
"The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time," and "Songs of the Gorilla Nation: My Journey through Autism".
"The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay." Usually I distrust books that everyone says are good. And then I read them and say, "Oh. That actually was good."
"American Nerd: The Story of My People" and "Winkie." Slowly working my way through "Discipline and Punish" and "The Origins of Postmodernity."
i just finished "friend of the devil" by peter robinson. it's one among a series of crime thrillers set in yorkshire. not my favorite of his, but still better than most in the genre.
lately I've put away Raphael Sabatini's Captain Blood and Scaramouche, the Jim Butcher Codex Alera 1-3, one of the Glen Cook "Garret, P.I." novels, the Strands of Starlight series by Gael Baudino, and When Gravity Fails by George Alec Effinger.
I need to add more sci fi that's not star wars to this diet.
@dann you should really look at what you type before clicking any buttons.
I'm really not that bad the iPod is not easy to type on and you are suppose to just trust the thing else it would take forever to type but I will keep that in mind
