fay by larry brown was a page turner. now i'm reading some serious crap. one of those hassaan books you buy in the airport. i can't even remember the name of it right now, but it's set in florida.

"The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time," and "Songs of the Gorilla Nation: My Journey through Autism".

"The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay." Usually I distrust books that everyone says are good. And then I read them and say, "Oh. That actually was good."

"American Nerd: The Story of My People" and "Winkie." Slowly working my way through "Discipline and Punish" and "The Origins of Postmodernity."

lately I've put away Raphael Sabatini's Captain Blood and Scaramouche, the Jim Butcher Codex Alera 1-3, one of the Glen Cook "Garret, P.I." novels, the Strands of Starlight series by Gael Baudino, and When Gravity Fails by George Alec Effinger.

I need to add more sci fi that's not star wars to this diet.
