Man. The trip to Alaska is off to a reat start. Planned arrival time at hotel: 6 pm. Actual arrival time? 1:34 am. Thanks, airline delays!

Off to the beach! No airline delays for me! Just 14 hours of traffic delays!

jfk was a mess yesterday. I was a few hours late to Chicago. Have fun at any rate.

Alaska updates:

Day 1: Alaska is just like Russia, except with mountains. Also, I get reception on the lower mountains so Mikkoman can call me to complain about traffic!

Day 2: Alaskan mountains are kinda like Yellowstone and Death Valley, but actually... less prettier.

Day 3: Raiiiiiiiin. Yuck. In the rain and mist, Alaska looks like Ireland, but less prettier.

Day 4: Climbing the lower mountains is fun though! But am glad to get away out of the National Park and into other Alaskan areas. Hopefully with less busses.
