just say no to gyms! Your better off out doors or at home with a work out video. :]

Depends. Some sort of weight training is a must. Can you get access to weight training equipment without a gym membership, and would you actually use it?

I don't belong to a gym. I can get more done in 20 minutes than you can in a gym on machines for an hour.

I'm getting a barbell soon, I hope, but until then, I have a track, a pullup bar, six sets of dumbbells, a couple of kettlebells, and a jump rope.

And this website: http://www.crossfit.com/

I don't really need anything else. Joining a gym would be the same as flushing money down the toilet.

I don't know if they have these sort on your side of town, but my gym is lower end (doesn't have a pool, doesn't do classes, and no showers either), but it has everything I need - cardio stuffs, circuit machines, and free weights. I only pay $9 a month.

It's called Fitness 19, and I believe there are others in Atlanta, but I don't know where they'd be.

There's also another one over here which is bigger, open 24 hours, and only $10 a month called Planet Fitness.
