now, to actually answer the question: i leave early sunday morning to fly out to eugene, OR for my best friend's wedding. i'm hoping to hit portland to meet superion and fuz during my stay.
i'd also like to go home maybe in august to see my family.
and i'll be goddamned if i'm not in austin in late september for austin city limits. still waiting to see if i'm gonna get press credentials, though.

also: i'm going to chicago in early- to mid-august, to san francisco in mid-october, AND i'm maybe possibly (i hope) going to go to japan at some point (maybe spring?) over the next year!!

Going home to St. Louis some time in August. I should buy some of that ball powder someone posted a while ago. As I am no longer used to humidity, and would rather not tree-frog the entire time I'm there.

I am going to a wedding in Milwaukee in October.
Other than that, I am going to Idaho for Christmas and maybe a road trip some time before I pay off my new car.
Given the price of plane tickets, I imagine my new passport will expire before I actually put any stamps in it. Lately, I'm more inclined to stay home and watch Netflix than stare lustily at maps or read travelogues.

i'm taking a mini-vacation to Colorado, starting today! first vacation i'm taking since, like, 1997
i only wish it were longer...
and, ultimately, someplace more exotic or distant

I leave for Denver tomorrow.
I'll be in New York August 5-11.
Then I'm going to the Berkshires for Labor Day weekend.
THEN I'M STAYING PUT. (Until I go to Denver for Thanksgiving and Georgia for Christmas.)

It should be noted that I am primarily flying on my mom's frequent flier miles. I paid for my New York ticket, and it HURT. Flying out of Austin is so expensive!

I'm hoping to be out in California again for winter break. Hopefully doing more than just L.A.
I'll be visiting VA again before years end, I'm pretty sure.
I'd really like to hit up NYC, but I'm pretty sure that's gonna have to be next year. Though, i may make it out there for Black Friday.

I just got back from va yesterday.

eventually, san francisco because my bff is moving there in 2 weeks for grad school..
