I enjoy being good at many things, but expert at none. :) For a while, I thought I could take all the talent I have and cram it into music. But that doesn't really work, and makes me miserable for neglecting the other things I do well.
So after this degree I'm just going to look for a tolerable job that pays the bills, and work on/indulge all my natural abilities instead of focusing on just one.

...(n) independent, self-sufficient, mostly emotionally stable person. it's a good feeling, especially given that i come from a working class family and i've had some tough shit happen. i've worked hard, fucked up, put myself in unhealthy situations, and somehow i've managed to come out of it better and stronger, more successful and happy than i ever thought was really possible.
...white person in musical theatre because I know I can be cast in more than just Flower Drum Song.
