@jb: i haven't gotten one yet.
i've been looking for the same style and company as the ones i have in the house. i can't find them online (only parts).
I don't like them anyways and they aren't 3 speeds.
What I hope to do is get a ceiling fan a month until one for each room. I'm going with white fans for each room.

I like the white ones too.. that's what I have in my bedrooms.. but I have wooden in my living room.. but I have wood accents (fireplace, stairs) which match.. so it's ok..
I need to get rid of my carpet and get wood, but I sortof semi want to try and do this myself.. which I know is just funny.

the ones i got i are wood and gold. i have wood laminate for the living room since the dog ruined the carpet.
i also have to change the the lights in the kitchen. i have a florescent light and a chandelier. I'm going to swap it out for track lighting

Same problem, though the kid did think it was a good idea to draw on the offwhite carpet with a pink sharpie. YAY.
Yea, I totally want to change my kitchen lighting.. the thing in there now is so hard to get off, the light bulb's been dead for about a week and I still can't get the thingy off to change it. I just use the fridge if I need light at night.
did ya get a ceiling fan yet?
And updates = more cash when you sell.. so not a bad thing at all :)
