The Thin Red Line

Rescue Dawn

And so far I like them all. Like period dramas, I haven't met a war film I didn't like.

Tonight I'm gonna watch Windtalkers, which I've heard is poop. But really, anything WWII is instant love for me.

You know, I haven't seen that one. I need to change that.

Oh god, how could I forget, I fucking loved Band of Brothers. But I guess to be technical its a mini-series. BUT WHO THE FUCK CARES. It was awesome.

What do you mean the Great Escape isn't realistic? It's about an actual bunch of airmen who were captured and tried to escape their prison camp.

My favourite part of Apocalypse Now! is the part where Captain Kilgore brings surf boards to the war, and when Charlie Sheen's crew take off with them, he begs for them back while flying over them in a helicopter, while they hide in the underbrush.
