OK, I really need to drop about 15 more pounds and get my cardio up. This is getting ridiculous.

Buy a good pair of running shoes. They make it so much easier to go running.

The weight is mostly diet. *shrug* I cut out as much processed sugars as I was able about a month or two ago (it's not something I'm super anal about, but no soda and less desserts), and that's both reduced my weight and increased my energy. It also made my skin significantly better.

what do you do right now? what is your diet/exercise routine like?

Both diet and exercise have gone to hell this summer, which is the problem. Like PT, I've cut out processed sugars and have generally been eating healthier. I drink a glass of OJ, some milk, and about a gallon of water a day.

Exercise is usually walking about 2 miles a day. I know I need to run more.

gotcha. well, i imagine you know what you need to do to get where you want.

Broadly speaking, yes. The problem is actually doing it.

:) The shoe investment helped me.

"I don't feel like running... but those shoes were fucking expensive."

walking 2 miles a day is actually pretty good, if you keep up a brisk pace. cardio doesn't have to be running.

walking at a regular pace has no impact on the health of your heart. the only thing that matters for cardio training is the intensity multiplied by the time.

here you go workout scrubs
