"I need you so much closer" - DCFC, "Transatlanticism"

@little p: Death Cab for Cutie not your thing?
I'm just thinking about someone, and that song starts playing, and next thing I know I'm saying that over and over and meaning it.
yea, I like DCFC, but I also like the trans-atlantic accent thing. I tried to talk like Barbara Stanwick and Donna Reed when I was a kid.
It's nice to have someone for songs to remind you of, but i hope it does not bring you ponderous sadness though
oh dear- I need to slumber - but we should have another intellectual/meaningful convo - I've got ideas that i want to talk about. maybe you and indio-navin would be up for it again
@little p: You know, that's a good point. I've been sad for so long I tend to get overexcited.
What I've been telling myself recently is that I should be happy I can have feelings for another, whether they get reciprocated or not. I don't know if that's delusional, but it seems to be working better than going "waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa i miss you love me" all the time.
@little p: if you have ideas, ask away. I typically have to look up stuff anyway, so giving me a heads up is always useful.
@artschooled: Good or bad thing? I love it partly because I think it's positive - people do cross oceans and love is real.
It's both good and bad. I love it because it is a beautiful song, and I love being all losery and in love... but at the same time, it sucks being apart. A lot. And I need my boy so much closer! [I am impatient]
@artschooled: Will keep my fingers crossed for you: I'm sure it'll work out well.
Good song. Good album. A lot of their stuff describes my life at any given moment.
I'm so emo.

I love the trans-atlantic accent from like, 1940's hollywood
