I met a guy who A) has a lot of baggage, B) is pretty good at making me feel like I'm on top of the world, and C) doesn't want to tell people we met in a strip club. I'm not sure what to do.

B is worth taking a chance. C can change over time. Just be cautious of A, take it slow, and don't fall into any traps.
If A> ends up causing more negative than B> does positive, then get out. C> is nothing. "I met her at a bar one night."
I'd kindly offer advice, but my head is cloudy in such matters.
I still don't know what to do about him. I don't really get to see him, and when we do see each other....well....I don't know if he's what I want because I feel I may be putting forth more than him.

(B) is the important one here.
Here's how you tell: what advice would we give if you said "i met a guy who has no baggage, makes me feel bad about myself, and is okay with telling people we met in a strip club"?
We'd say that (A) and (C) are irrelevant compared to (B). And that goes for their opposites, too.
